A big road accident has occurred in Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh. The vehicle of devotees returning after bathing from Mahakumbh fell victim to the accident. Four devotees died in the accident, while three were injured. The injured have been admitted to the hospital.

According to the information, a passenger vehicle from Telangana collided with a truck parked on the road while returning to Varanasi from Prayagraj. Four people died and three were seriously injured in the accident. The accident took place late Saturday night near Kisan Dhaba in Tulsi village on Lalganj-Mirzapur Road.

The vehicle of passengers of Sangreddy district of Telangana was returning from Prayagraj after bathing. The speed of the vehicle was fast. The vehicle uncontrollably collided in a truck parked on the roadside. The collision was so tremendous that the front of the vehicle was badly damaged.

On receiving the information, Superintendent of Police, Additional SP and Police President Sanjay Kumar Singh reached the spot. With the help of locals, the injured were taken to the Community Health Center (CHC) Lalganj, where doctors referred the Mirzapur Trauma Center in view of their serious condition after first aid.
